HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

April 29, 2023 my wife and I lost a very special part of our lives as her father, William Schulmeister, passed away from complications due to Parkinson's Disease. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and soccer coach. He was the father we all strive to be. As a result this Father's Day has been very bitter-sweet.

Thanks for visiting this site, so far it's been a busy, creative summer. Currently, I'm working on an oversized ceramics project, continuing my third novel and travelling so that I can fill up my stock of refrence images for my next round of watercolors. NEWS AND UPDATES
Carried Away has been revised a few times since my last post in January of 2022, and is now being read by a beta-audience. I also hope to visit the Southwest this summer to test it with specific readers. The goal is to publish it on Amazon at some point in 2023, but there's no hurry since the story still needs a bit more grooming. I've done some concept art for both the cover and the story itself, which has been incredibly rewarding. The origin of the story comes from the winter of 2020, when I was on some pretty strong medication which allowed for vivid dreams. Carried Away came to life. The pandemic allowed me time to write the first draft and I found myself hooked. I'm currenty writing my first draft of my third novel that I'm calling "Giants" as a working title. It's about a young giant who finds himself adopted by a small village in the Highlands of Scotland.

SOCCER ARTICLE EXCERPT

I loved this phrase the first time I heard it a few weeks ago while watching a segment on NBC Sports Channel. The EPL had just wrapped up and they were featuring “The Southampton Way”. Southampton is a gem of EPL clubs in the United Kingdom, with one of the best player development schemes in Europe.
